The Cast Iron Cookware Collection of David Schultz , now deceased, of Anderson , South Carolina , is considered by many to be one of, if not the, most comprehensive accumulations of Favorite Cast Iron, Favorite Piqua Ware, Favorite Miami , etc . With over 1400 pieces, it could most possibly include nearly every type and description of cast iron cookware manufactured by this historic and important foundry, located in Piqua, Ohio, known as ‘The Favorite City” There is a great diversity of sizes and styles of cast iron skillets; bailed, handled & long griddles; Dutch ovens; oval roasters kettles and pots; bowls; waffle irons; tea kettles; muffin pans (even the elusive deep popovers in open & closed style); large assortment of Favorite enameled ware in blue, red & gray, (some full sets of skillets, etc.); wood handled skillets; cook stoves, parlor stoves; laundry stoves and heaters; toys; advertising and much more. There is also a wide variety of Wapak cast iron: skillets, griddles, kettles, sad irons, waffle irons, and several sizes of Wapak Indian Head skillets, Indian Head waffle iron; W.C. Davis muffin pans, kettles, skillets, waffle irons; also Wagner, Sidney Hollow Ware, National, Victor, Shephard Hardware, Victor, Martin Stove & Range, Vollrath, Griswold, Erie and many other pieces from various historic foundries, and lots of great muffin pans, as well as some sad irons, trivets, mechanical and hand fluters, a Ladies Friend combination reversible sad iron/fluter, some early hand forged hearth pieces and super Favorite Piqua Ware advertising pieces. There are over 20 stoves. There is even a gorgeous Sidney Hollow Ware Black Iron Kettle Rack (pole style w/ arms); a Favorite Wall Coffee Grinder as well as the very rare and desirable Favorite Brown Porcelain Enamel (Graniteware) over Cast Iron 5-Piece Toy Set, including waffle iron in pristine condition and a 5 piece black cast iron Favorite Piqua Ware toy set with waffle iron and lots more toy cast iron cookware .
